How do I register with Nannies by Nature?

Simply click the "Find a Carer" button on our website and complete the quick registration form. Once registered, you'll have access to your secure Family Portal where you can manage your account, view carer profiles, make bookings, and update your details.

What are the different membership and booking options, and relevant fees?

Our Service fees are as follows: One-time booking: $33 per booking. Flex Membership options: Lite (3 bookings) $79/month, Plus (7 bookings) $159/month, All-in (14 bookings) $249/month. Fixed Membership: Finder's fee $199 (one-off, non-refundable) and Ongoing Membership $99/month. Carers charge their own rates starting from $35 per hour.

What is your cancellation policy?

One-time and Flex bookings require at least 24 hours' notice. Fixed Membership bookings require at least 48 hours' notice. Late cancellations may incur fees: 50% of carer's pay for one-time/Flex bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, and 25-50% for Fixed Membership bookings depending on notice period.

What happens if my nanny isn't the right fit?

If you have a Fixed Membership, you're covered by our Complimentary Nanny Replacement Service — we'll arrange up to two free replacements within the first 30 days. For One-time booking and Flex Membership, you can choose to select a different carer.

Accessing our services is simple!

Step 01

1. Join as a Family

Click “Join Now” → “Family Application” and fill in your details so we can get to know your family, your routines, and your childcare needs.

2. Choose Your Booking Option

Select the option that best suits your family and complete your application. Payment is made securely at the end of the form via Stripe.

One-time bookings and Flex Membership: Book online and upload a valid, current photo ID or passport. If you have questions, you’re welcome to request a Zoom chat at any time. We’re happy to talk things through.
Fixed Memberships: We’ll arrange an initial Zoom chat to learn a bit more about your family’s needs, answer any questions, and ensure we’re aligned before moving ahead. You can read more under Booking Options and FAQs for Families.

3. Start Using Your Portal

Once registered, you’ll have full access to your secure, user-friendly dashboard.

For casual shifts (One-Time or Flex): You can create and manage bookings directly through your portal.
For permanent / fixed roles: You’ll work more closely with us to post your job and move through the matching process.

Additional Fees & Information

No Dash Fee or Public Holiday surcharge: Unlike other platforms or agencies, we don’t charge extra for last-minute bookings or public holidays. We believe families shouldn’t pay more simply because care is needed urgently or on special days.

Working together smoothly

We want every family’s experience with us to be smooth, safe, and worry-free. To help us provide the best possible service, we kindly ask that you:

Provide a welcoming and safe environment for your carer while they’re with your family.
Make all bookings through the platform so everything runs smoothly, and pay your carer promptly after booking completion.
Follow our medication policy – carers can only administer medication with a signed NannySure Permission Slip to keep your child safe. (print out a copy).
For all bookings: at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may incur a 25–50% fee paid to your carer.
Share accurate child information so carers can support your child safely.

Important Information

Insurance: Families are encouraged to maintain suitable household/liability cover and check if the carer holds their own insurance.

Tax & Legal Obligations: We recommend seeking independent advice on any tax, superannuation, or work-related obligations when engaging a carer.

Payroll Services: We have a paid referral partnership with , which offers specialized nanny payroll services available upon request.
