How It Works
Accessing our services is simple!
1. Join as a Family
Click “Join Now” → “Family Application” and fill in your details so we can get to know your family, your routines, and your childcare needs.
2. Choose Your Booking Option
One-time bookings and Flex Care options: Book online and upload a valid, current photo ID or passport. If you have questions, you’re welcome to request a Zoom chat at any time. We’re happy to talk things through.
Consistent Care Plan: We’ll arrange an initial Zoom chat to learn a bit more about your family’s needs, answer any questions, and ensure we’re aligned before moving ahead. You can read more under Booking Options and FAQs for Families.
3. Start Using Your Portal
For casual or occasional shifts (One-Time or Flex): You can create and manage bookings directly through your portal.
For permanent / consistent roles: You’ll work more closely with us to post your job and move through the matching process.

Additional Fees & Information
When matched with a carer, you engage your nanny directly and manage the day-to-day relationship. Carers are independent workers and are not employed by Nannies by Nature.
For Flex Care: Same carer when available. Cancel by the end of monthly cycle to avoid renewal.
The Engagement Fee is non-refundable once your process has commenced.
Matching & Support Fee is payable on the day your nanny starts her first shift (once/if trial(s) have been completed). It includes 6 months of structured platform support and early-stage reassurance.
If your family's regular care needs increase beyond 25 hours per week, we'll update your care level with a fee adjustment accordingly.
No Dash Fee or Public Holiday surcharge: Unlike other platforms or agencies, we don’t charge extra for last-minute bookings or public holidays. We believe families shouldn’t pay more simply because care is needed urgently or on special days.

For Our Consistent Care Plan
Supporting you through matching and the early stages of your nanny relationship with:
Structured Matching
Personalised Engagement & Matching, tailored role creation, screening, shortlisting, and interview coordination.
Early-Stage Reassurance
- • 14-day fit window
- • 30-day Nanny Sub Service
- • Support sourcing a suitable alternative if needed (subject to availability).
6-Month Support
- • 6 months of platform access and general guidance
- • Assistance sourcing temporary cover for your nanny's regular scheduled working days (subject to availability) if they are sick or on leave
- • Your chosen nanny may work additional casual shifts (e.g. evenings or weekends) directly with you. No additional platform fee applies
- • If you require a different carer for extra days outside your regular arrangement, the standard one-time booking fee applies.
Working together smoothly
We want every family’s experience with us to be smooth, safe, and worry-free. To help us provide the best possible service, we kindly ask that you:
Provide a welcoming and safe environment for your carer while they’re with your family.
Make all bookings through the platform so everything runs smoothly, and pay your carer promptly after booking completion.
Follow our medication policy – carers can only administer medication with a signed NannySure Permission Slip to keep your child safe. (print out a copy).
For all bookings: at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may incur a 25–50% fee paid to your carer.
Share accurate child information so carers can support your child safely.
Important Information
Insurance: Families are encouraged to maintain suitable household/liability cover and check if the carer holds their own insurance.
Tax & Legal Obligations: We recommend seeking independent advice on any tax, superannuation, or work-related obligations when engaging a carer.
Payroll Services: We have a paid referral partnership with , which offers specialized nanny payroll services available upon request.
